Who we are
This is the website of St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District No. 12, at https://fd12.org (also reachable at fd12.net).
What this site collects
Very little. The public pages have no user accounts, no comment forms, no contact forms and no login. They set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising trackers.
District staff post meeting agendas and minutes through a separate, staff-only system that uses a Microsoft sign-in and session cookies. Members of the public never see or use it.
Like any website, the service that delivers these pages (Cloudflare) briefly records technical details of each request — such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested — to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The district does not use that information to identify visitors.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other organizations, such as the job application form, Facebook and fire-safety resources for children. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Email and phone
If you email or call the district, the district receives whatever you choose to send, and handles it as part of its normal business and public-records obligations.
