The community served by FD12 is diverse. From rural areas near Folsom to subdivisions along Hwy. 190 south of Covington, and from small businesses on Hwy. 25 to big-box retailers on the main commercial corridor, the District has a lot to offer – and a lot to protect.

With a full-time population of more than 25,000 people, the job of protecting homes is 24/7. With an active commercial corridor and business community, thousands of people visit FD12 every day to shop, dine or attend school. All of them rely on the men and women of FD12 for their safety, most without realizing it.

FD12’s staff is as diverse as the population we serve, from 18-year-old rookies to seasoned veterans, and from lifelong firefighters to those who entered the profession later in life. FD12 is a top-notch agency that works efficiently and with your safety as its number one goal.

You don’t want to need us but when you do isn’t it nice to know we’re here? You see, your Fire District is like the air you breathe: You don’t have to think about it. You just know it’s there.
