On Friday, May 7, FD12 received and dedicated a beam from the World Trade Center in New York in memory of fallen firefighters everywhere.

Firefighters from FD12 were joined by equipment and personnel from seven other surrounding fire protection agencies to battle a major fire at a popular Northshore restaurant on Monday, March 1.

Saturdays Blood Drive A Success

The blood drive sponsored by FD12 last Saturday, was a great success.
More than 30 units of blood were donated during the drive, exceeding expectations.
The photo above shows Susan, wife of Marshal Packer, personally thanking Chief Guilott and all those came out to support Marshal by donating blood.
Susan and Marshal were both impressed by FD12's community-minded spirit.

Engine 121

Engine 121 was placed in service on July 4, 2009, at the Northpark Fire Station. The Pumper is capable of delivering 1,500 gallon per minute pump and carries 1,000 gallons of water. The truck is equipped with the latest safety features and is powered by a 330 horsepower, low-emission diesel engine. The pumper was built by Ferrara Fire Appratus in Holden, Louisiana.
